This policy explains what information CardMood ("we", "us") collects when you visit cardmood.store, buy CardMood and use the CardMood app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you buy. Payments are handled by Ziina. Ziina gives us your name, email address and the details of your order (product, amount and date). Your card details are entered on Ziina's checkout and we never see or store them.
When you activate and use the app. Each license is linked to one Mac and one iPhone. To do this, the app sends the following to our license server:
- your license key;
- your Mac's hardware identifier, serial number, model and computer name;
- your iPhone's serial number, device identifier (UDID), model, device name and iOS version;
- the CardMood app version;
- your IP address and the times of activation and license checks.
What stays on your devices. The cards in your Wallet, your designs and any pictures you choose are handled on your Mac and iPhone. We don't receive your card numbers, payment credentials, balances or transactions.
When you visit the website. Our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. If you click "Already paid?", your browser remembers this locally so the download stays visible; this never leaves your device.
When you contact us. If you email us or message us on TikTok, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
Why we use it
- To deliver your purchase and send your license key.
- To activate your license, keep it linked to your Mac and iPhone, and prevent key sharing and fraud.
- To tell you about required app updates and provide support.
- To keep the website and license service secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run CardMood, and only as needed: Ziina (payments), our hosting provider (the server that runs the license service and website) and Cloudflare (network and security). Each of them processes the data under its own terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep license and device information for as long as your license is active, and for a reasonable time afterwards to handle support, disputes and fraud prevention. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept for a short period.
Security
The license service is reached only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to its data is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing [email protected]. If we delete the device information linked to your license, the license will need to be activated again. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
CardMood isn't intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information outside your country. When they do, we rely on their safeguards to protect it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
